Configuring Identity

Set up your AI agent's name, branding, industry type, and feature toggles.

The Identity tab in Build lets you define how your AI agent presents itself to visitors. These settings shape the agent's personality and the chat widget's appearance.

Branding & Identity

  • Organization Name — your business name, used in AI responses when referring to your company
  • Assistant Name — the name your AI agent uses to introduce itself (e.g., "Ares Assistant" or "Sarah")
  • Title — displayed in the chat widget header bar
  • Primary Color — hex color used for the widget theme, buttons, and accent elements. Use the color picker or enter a hex value directly
  • Welcome Message — the first message visitors see when they open the chat widget. Make it welcoming and action-oriented

Industry & Region

  • Industry Type — select from 17+ options across Automotive, Hospitality, Retail, and Services. This optimizes the AI's knowledge and conversation patterns for your sector
  • Currency Code — used for formatting prices in product and inventory responses

Industry Features

Toggle these based on your business model:

  • Trade-in — enables trade-in valuation conversations (popular in automotive)
  • Financing — enables financing-related discussions and calculations
  • Booking — enables appointment and reservation scheduling

Live Preview

As you make changes, the widget preview on the right updates in real-time. This lets you see exactly how your assistant will appear to visitors before saving.

Saving Changes

Click Save when you're happy with your configuration. Changes take effect immediately across all active chat sessions.
