Configuring Behavior
Set your AI agent's communication tone, language preferences, and locale settings.
The Behavior tab in Build controls how your AI agent communicates — its tone, language, and regional behavior.
Communication Tone
Select a tone style that matches your brand voice:
- Professional — formal, business-appropriate language
- Friendly — warm and approachable while remaining helpful
- Casual — relaxed, conversational style
- Formal — highly structured, corporate-grade communication
Each option shows a visual card with a description of how the tone affects responses.
Language & Locale
Configure regional settings for your AI agent:
- Country — sets regional context for the AI's responses (date formats, local conventions)
- Primary Language — the main language your AI agent uses for all responses
- Starting Message Language — optionally set a different language for the initial greeting (useful for multilingual markets)
How Language Settings Work
The AI agent will always respond in the Primary Language by default. If a visitor writes in a different supported language, the agent will try to match their language while maintaining your configured tone.
The Starting Message Language only affects the welcome message and initial greeting — subsequent messages follow the primary language setting.
